Central advantages

zentrale-icon

Perfect for research and development

The C101 EASY LAB is specially designed for experimenting with high-performance ceramic materials.

zentrale-icon

Customizable parameters

An open system enables the development and fine-tuning of individual printing parameters.

zentrale-icon

Small quantities of material

Thanks to the SAM option, just 10 ml of ceramic is enough to start printing.

zentrale-icon

Few support structures

The top-down process enables printing with just a few support structures, as the printing is done in the direction of gravity, making the process easier.

Applications

Research
Silicon nitride

Silicon nitride is one of the hardest and most resistant ceramic materials. It is ideal for applications in the semiconductor industry, heat exchangers and thermal insulation, as well as in the automotive and aerospace sectors. 3DCeram has mastered the 3D printing of this demanding material.

Biomedical area
ATZ

ATZ (Alumina Toughened Zirconia) is a material mixture of aluminum oxide and zirconium oxide in variable mixing ratios. This combination unites the advantages of both materials and offers outstanding properties such as high hardness and strength, biocompatibility and resistance to wear and thermal shock. Thanks to these characteristics, ATZ is particularly suitable for applications in the biomedical and dental fields.

Industry
Zirconium oxide

Zirconium oxide and yttria stabilized variant - has excellent mechanical properties and high hardness. These characteristics make it an attractive material for numerous industrial applications, for example in fuel cells, exhaust systems and engine components in the automotive industry. It is also widely used in areas such as medical technology and jewelry production due to its durability and aesthetics

Qualified materials

Zirconium dioxide

Zirconium dioxide (ZrO2) has very good mechanical properties both when cold and at high temperatures. At ambient temperatures, its thermal conductivity is low. At temperatures above 1000°C, zirconium oxide is a very good electrical conductor. It is also very hard, wear-resistant, chemically inert and resists attack by metals. Zirconium oxide can be colored for use in jewelry.

It is characterized by high mechanical strength, good thermal conductivity, high specific electrical resistance and excellent wear resistance - properties that make it particularly attractive for numerous applications

Silicon nitride (Si3n4) is one of the hardest and most resistant ceramic materials. It resists thermal shock very well, is wear-resistant and corrosion-resistant to liquids and gases. It is used in pump and valve elements, semiconductors, etc.

FAQ – 3D Ceram C101 Easy Lab
