AAF

The AAF ashing ovens are designed for the complete ashing of samples at up to 1100 °C. With a programmable controller, efficient air flow (4-5 air changes/minute) and heating elements on four sides, they offer optimum temperature distribution. They comply with ISO 1171:2010, ASTM D3174-04 and ASTM D4422 - ideal for food, plastics, coal, etc. The robust ceramic muffle reliably protects the heating elements.

  • The resistance wire heating elements are optimally protected against chemical and mechanical damage by a sealed ceramic muffle
  • Heating elements on four sides of the chamber (left, right, top, bottom)
  • Special fresh air supply for approx. 4-5 air changes/minute
  • Due to the low height of the chamber, the air flow passes directly over the samples, ensuring optimum combustion
  • Powerful heating elements with graduated winding reduce heat loss due to the high air exchange rate
  • Preheated supply air for optimum temperature distribution
  • Inconel bowls with removable handle
  • The soft-closing door protects the thermal insulation
