Scanning process

Step 1:

A portable scanner that is ideal for mobile use due to its low weight and easy handling. Small parts, fine details, larger objects or deep pockets, narrow spaces or areas that are difficult to access.

Optimized workflow so that the entire scanning process can be carried out directly on the scanner and without a laptop. The tool for creating highly accurate digital twins in the shortest possible time.

The high-precision scanning results can be inspected in the comprehensive Zeiss Quality Suite software.

Central advantages

zentrale-icon

Your optimum working distance

A new projection mode with a red laser marker helps to maintain the optimum working distance at all times.

zentrale-icon

Scan applications several meters in size

The so-called satellite mode is available for scanning applications several meters in size. As the first scanner available on the market with this technology, classic photogrammetry is no longer required without sacrificing accuracy.

zentrale-icon

Highest performance on demanding surfaces

The generation of 3D measurement data is also possible on dark or shiny surfaces without any problems.

zentrale-icon

Qualified system

DAkkS-calibrated and traceable length standards and coordinate standards are included as standard.

Applications

Maintenance

3D inspection of dents, corrosion and damage 3D scanning and reconditioning of worn old parts Indoors and outdoors, in robust and harsh environments

Quality assurance

Checking dimensions and shape and position tolerances Archiving tools and cultural assets Everything from small details to very large repairs of parts

Reverse engineering

From form to CAD Reverse engineering of physical objects into digital images

Design layout

Digitizing complex shapes and physical objects Design modification Interior design and 3D visualization
