Central advantages

zentrale-icon

Flexible print volume

The C101 EASY FAB enables efficient printing of small parts and can be scaled up to larger production systems.

zentrale-icon

Easy handling

An intuitive system makes the printer accessible even for less experienced users.

zentrale-icon

Material-saving

A print can be started with just 60 ml of ceramic, which reduces material costs.

zentrale-icon

Fewer support structures

SLA technology (stereolithography) makes it possible to print components with fewer support structures, as the printing process is optimized for alignment along the force of gravity.

Applications

Research

3DCeram is the preferred partner of major research groups and universities. In fact, its durability and various properties make ceramic a material of choice.

Biomedical area

For over 10 years, 3DCeram has been using 3D SLA printing processes to produce customized parts or small series of bone replacements (intervertebral and tibial implants as well as jaw and cranial implants).

Industry

3DCeram offers equipment that meets the specific requirements of industrial manufacturing processes (for electronics, chemicals, telecommunications, etc.) and in which this new technology is to be integrated.

Qualified materials

Zirconium dioxide

Zirconium dioxide (ZrO2) has very good mechanical properties both when cold and at high temperatures. At ambient temperatures, its thermal conductivity is low. At temperatures above 1000°C, zirconium oxide is a very good electrical conductor. It is also very hard, wear-resistant, chemically inert and resists attack by metals. Zirconium oxide can be colored for use in jewelry.

Aluminum oxide (Al2O3) is a base material used in numerous technical ceramic applications. It retains its mechanical strength even at high temperatures and has good electrical conductivity.

Silicon nitride (Si3n4) is one of the hardest and most resistant ceramic materials. It resists thermal shock very well, is wear-resistant and corrosion-resistant to liquids and gases. It is used in pump and valve elements, semiconductors, etc.
